Announcing an exciting new look celebrating our proud Scottish heritage.
It’s more than 125 years since founding father Joseph Walker fired up the ovens of our family ’s Scottish highland bakery with a desire to bake the best.
Family recipes handed down five generations help us to continue to wow the world with the best of Scotland. But we are no strangers to innovation either, sourcing only the finest ingredients to create unique flavor combinations and taste sensations at our Speyside home.
While our packaging is new, our all-butter shortbread is still baked to same delicious recipe you know and love using only 4 ingredients; butter, flour, sugar and salt.
Embodying Scotland’s essence, the Walker’s new tartan echoes the spirit of Aberlour, our home by the River Spey. The colors of our packaging have significant meaning. Blue threads represent the river’s pure and fast-flowing waters, while green represents Speyside’s lush landscapes. Gold signifies the 5 generations of Walker family dedication since 1898 and red reflects our global passion for sharing Scotland at its finest.
The new Walker’s logo is taken from an original company delivery van, honoring the brand’s 125-year-old history.
Discover our range of all-butter shortbread
Our core range includes classics like the iconic all-butter Shortbread Finger, decorated with a baker’s dozen of ‘dockers’ - tiny air vents that let the steam escape during baking, giving each chunky finger its supreme crumble and top-notch teatime dunk-ability.
Our Gluten-Free Lemon & Ginger Shortbread is tantalizingly tangy and spicy, finding perfect harmony in a sweet, all-butter bake. So delicious it’s difficult to share!
Our products are perfect for snacking, gifting, and sharing and are ideal for enjoying a taste of Scotland at its finest.
Sustainability starts in our own backyard!
As a family run business for over 125 years, Walker’s has always maintained its faithful commitment to its home-grown roots in the stunning Speyside region of the Scottish Highlands, ensuring a conscious concern for the food we produce, the welfare of the local workforce, working environment and its important relationships with local suppliers and businesses. We make sure that our ingredients, packaging, and our environmental efforts are as sustainable as possible by considering the end-to-end impact - from their creation to transport and disposal.
