Walker's Spring Flower Bouquet

Ingredients

Frosting

1 cup confectioners' sugar, sifted

3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 tablespoon milk

Chocolate Petals

12oz White chocolate

Oil based food coloring gels

Method

Separate your white chocolate into 2-3 glass bowls (depending on how many colors you are making). Working with one bowl at a time only, heat the chocolate at 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted. Add coloring and mix.

Place a narrow piece of parchment paper directly on your counter and using an offset spatula, press a small amount of chocolate onto the paper, dragging it down about 1-2 inches. Make about 5-8 petals then curl the paper and place it in a glass or a long a tray until it hardens. You can also just leave it flat (for flat petals).

Using a hand mixer, combine all frosting ingredients in a bowl and mix on medium speed until combined.

Add a dollop of buttercream to the center of your Walker’s Shortbread round cookie base and carefully insert your chocolate petals, leaving space in the middle. Press your mini shortbread round down in the center and enjoy!
