Ingredients
1 box of Walker’s Shortbread Fingers
Coffee beans
1 ½ oz Espresso, hot
1 ½ oz Kahlua or another coffee liqueur
1 ½ oz Vodka
1 tsp simple syrup
Method
Prepare the Espresso: Brew a fresh shot of hot espresso and set it aside to cool slightly.
Mix the Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine the hot espresso, Kahlua, vodka, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice cubes, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and frothy.
Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass. Let the frothy layer settle on top for a smooth, velvety texture.
Garnish: Float a few coffee beans on the surface of the drink as a garnish. Also, add symple syrup to the rim, and crush up some of Walker’s Shortbread Fingers to rim the glass.
