Brandy Sauce

A taste of pure holiday comfort. Our rich, all-butter Mince Pies are even more irresistible topped with a homemade, velvety Brandy Sauce. Cozy, comforting, and unmistakably festive, the perfect indulgence for the season.
 
 

Ingredients

2 egg yolks, preferably organic

4 oz heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons brandy (good quality; adjust to taste)

Method

In a small saucepan, whisk together the egg yolks, heavy cream, and sugar.

Place the saucepan over low heat, whisking continuously to prevent curdling. Continue cooking until the mixture thickens slightly and reaches a sauce-like consistency.

Remove from heat and whisk in the brandy, adjusting the amount to taste. Be careful not to add too much, as this can thin the sauce.

Once fully combined and smooth, pour the sauce into a serving jug.
