Espresso Martini with Cold Foam
A refined spring twist on the classic Espresso Martini, infused with Walker's Shortbread Fingers. Layers of rich espresso, vodka, and coffee liqueur are topped with a velvety cold foam. A dash of shortbread vodka can be added to gently spike the foam, bringing smooth coffee notes and a light, buttery sweetness to this elevated seasonal sip.
Ingredients
6 oz vodka
1 heaping tbsp cream cheese frosting
2 tbsp heavy cream
1 tbsp milk
1.5 oz shortbread vodka
0.5 oz coffee liqueur
one double shot of espresso
Method
First start by making your Walkers Shortbread vodka (makes enough for 2-3 martinis)
Crush 3 shortbread fingers, then add them to a container with 6 oz of vodka. Mix well and freeze overnight (about 12 hours)
Now strain vodka over cheesecloth & your vodka is ready!
To build cold foam add cream cheese frosting, heavy cream, and milk to a frother
Add a little dash of your shortbread vodka if you’d like to “spike” your cold foam and froth well
To build our espresso martini add shortbread vodka, coffee liqueur, double shot of espresso and shake well and strain
Top with cream cheese shortbread cold foam & delectable & buttery shortbread finger
Enjoy!
