  • Our shortbread is baked with no genetically modified ingredients, artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or hydrogenated fats.
  • No bovine growth hormones or antibiotics are given to the free range grass fed dairy cows that produce the rich, creamy milk that becomes the butter used in our shortbread recipe.
  • 100% vegetarian; no animal fats are used in Walkers recipes.
  • Our classic shortbread is made from only four natural ingredients: butter, flour, sugar and salt.
  • Walkers shortbread, cookies and oatcakes are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union.
  • Where we do use palm oil, it is 100% RSPO certified sustainable. No hydrogenated vegetable oils are used.
  • Whole grain oats in our Oatcake cracker recipes and any oat containing products.
  • Australian Buderim ginger, considered the world’s finest ginger, is used in the recipe for Stem Ginger Biscuits and Stem Ginger Shortbread.
  • Only the highest quality milk, dark and white Belgian chocolate is used in our recipes. No hardened vegetable oils are used in our chocolate.
  • Recipient of the Good Egg Award from the Compassion in World Farming organization for using only eggs from free range chickens in our Fruit (Plum) Pudding and Fruitcake recipes.
  • Walkers’ classic Scottish shortbread is baked in the beautiful, pristine countryside of the Scottish Highlands in the village of Aberlour-on-Spey.
