These honey-glazed figs are balanced by creamy goat cheese in this fun and easy vegetarian hors d’oeuvre. Ingredients

  • 2.6 oz. Walnuts
  • 12 Walkers Highland Oat Crackers
  • 2 logs goat's cheese, weighing 4.4 oz. each
  • 3 T honey
  • 4 baby or small figs, quartered
  • 2 sprigs thyme, to garnish
Walnut Crumb Goat’s Cheese & Fig Oat Crackers

Method

Chop the walnuts by hand or pulse in blender until the walnuts are a coarse crumb texture.

Tip the walnuts onto a plate.

Roll the goat's cheese logs in the walnuts until evenly covered. Place on a chopping board; slice each log into 6 even rounds and then place each slice onto an oat cracker.

To serve, top each oat cracker with a fig quarter, a drizzle of honey and a thyme leaf.
