Sweet, savory and so easy to make. All you need is some creamy chèvre cheese whipped with a few spices, blueberries, and a sprig of rosemary atop our Walker’s Shortbread Rounds.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Walker's Shortbread Rounds (1 box makes 9 appetizers)
  • Blueberries (for garnish)
  • Fresh Rosemary Sprigs (for garnish)
  • Blueberry Preserves (serve with)
  • For the Chèvre
  • 8 oz chèvre
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Finely Chopped Fresh Rosemary
  • ¼ Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • ¼ Tsp Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
  • Pinch of Salt

Method

For the Chèvre, whip those ingredients (from the chèvre to the salt) until smooth, fill a piping bag with a star nozzle.

Pipe the prepared chèvre onto each round slightly off center.

Add a fresh blueberry or two and a sprig of fresh rosemary for garnish.

Serve with blueberry preserves (we used Bonne Maman) on the side.
