Ingredients
- 2-3 packages of Walker’s Shortbread Cookies of your choice (or mix and match)
- 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- ½ C butter, softened
- ⅔ C. powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla paste
- ½ tsp matcha powder OR 2 pinches spirulina powder
- 1 tsp milk

Method
1
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla until well mixed.
2
If using matcha powder, add to the bowl and mix to incorporate fully. Add drops of milk until desired consistency is reached.
3
If using spirulina powder, add one pinch at a time and mix thoroughly . Taste after each addition if desired color isn’t achieved. Too much spirulina and your frosting may taste like seaweed. Add drops of milk until your desired consistency is reached.
4
Frost cookies and add embellishments of your choosing if you’d like.
